Who we are:
Our roots lie in the Protestant Church. Throughout our journey of faith, we were actively involved in various free churches. In the summer of 2024, we founded an interdenominational home group called Krafftquelle, where born-again Christians gather. We are Steffen Schuchardt, Angelika Krafft, and Birgit Bauer-Schuff.
How it all began:
Through challenging life circumstances, God (Angelika Krafft speaking) increasingly led me into worship and the study of His Word. Various Christian seminars sparked a new spiritual awakening. After my husband took his life in 2017 and my son in 2020, my times of worship became more intense. Despite all the pain and suffering, I experienced great comfort, deep peace, and supernatural joy. The desire to express the experiences I had with God grew stronger and stronger within me. At the same time, God enabled me to begin writing Christian songs – something that had been completely unthinkable for me before.
Steffen Schuchardt, an IT specialist and friend of the house, helped me begin producing these songs in spring 2021 and created a YouTube channel. A dream came true. This form of creativity became not only a blessing for others but also a source of healing for me. But the journey didn’t end with the songs.
At a weekend seminar in 2022 on creating digital art, led by Steffen Schuchardt, my passion for this art form was awakened – despite my aversion to anything technical.
The first posters were created with me as the creative mind behind them. Steffen brought the concepts to life on the computer according to my vision. The next step was the launch of this website, completed in November 2024.
In April 2025, the idea emerged to turn some of the posters into T-shirt designs. Another project followed: my biography, which will be published in November 2025. Among other things, this journey is described in detail there.
To promote our art, we founded a non-registered association called Xenous Arts n.e.V.
Shortly before the death of my son, I also founded a small housing cooperative called Kabodunity e.G., which aims to serve Christian and social purposes. One of the goals of this cooperative is to live out the Christian faith together in a shared living community.
The driving force behind all these projects is our triune God, who has blessed us throughout these difficult times with supernatural joy, grace, and hope – gifts we are eager to share with other Christians.
God bless you.
